At Gone West Vet, we provide in-home euthanasia, in-home palliative care, and in-home hospice care for families in Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, and Marin County.

Our In-Home Pet Care Services

We bring palliative end-of-life care to your pet in your home, serving  Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Southern Sonoma County & Marin, with compassionate care. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide general veterinarian care such as vaccinations at this time.

Please be aware of these estimated costs for our services. These numbers may change based on your specific pet, pet needs, and location:

Payment is due at time of service. We accept credit cards and personal checks.

  • Quality of life assessment and/or in-home appointment to establish care: $500
  • Euthanasia: $600-$1000, depending on the size of the pet
  • Communal cremation: $200
  • Private cremation: $430
  • Travel fee outside Central Petaluma: $45 per 10 miles

Use this form or call (707) 775-0897 to request an appointment with us. We are available for appointments Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, and Saturday-Sunday, 9am-5pm. While we will do our best to accommodate your requested day and time, please note, your appointment is not fully booked until you get a confirmation from us!

We book by appointment and are not on call, however sometimes we are able to accommodate same-day appointment requests depending on our schedule. Calls are returned within 24 hours and we do our best to accommodate appointment requests within 48 hours.
